Trouble logging into Facebook?

I would go to my Facebook page and my email and password would automatically let me log in once it was filled in. Now I am getting a page that wants me to enter Different letters and numbers? I was told by someone that apple is blocking sites or safari no longer allows Facebook. I have written Facebook but got nowhere..Does safari no longer support Facebook..Eventually I can log in.. This just started about a month ago. Even tried Firefox.....It's all very odd. Any thoughts...

I have checked everything. Been logging in no problem with Facebook for years... Also tried Firefox.I eventually can get in via other ways...Perhaps Facebook has put in security of having to type in large letters and numbers every time I try to log in. Though I do have that disabled.. Who knows.. I eventually can get it. so will do for now. Did write Facebook but no reply!!!

Apple does not block any websites. Try the suggestions in If Safari doesn't open a page or work as expected on your Mac - Apple Support. Most of them can be adapted to other browsers such as Firefox.
