Since three weeks MAIL on Mac Mini M2 - SONOMA 15.0.1, on MacBook Pro - MONTEREY 12.7.6 and on iPhone 13 - iOS iOS 18.0.1) cannot access my hotmail.com account.

I'm facing a nasty problem . MAIL on the above mentioned machines and OSs cannot access to my mail account ****@hotmail.com. It keeps returning the message that it cannot verify the account or the password.

Please note that both the account and the password are correct as I can access my mail account via web.

I've deleted the account on my Mac Mini M2 with the result that I cannot recreate it as I keep getting the same error message as above.

I've also tried using Microsoft Exchange, as suggested somewhere in the web, and I keep obtaining the same error message.

Can anybody help?
