How to disable automatic archiving in Apple Mail?

I have a non Apple email that I access via my iMac, iPhone etc. (it is provided by Google and associated with my company domain). For some reason, unlike all the other emails I access via my Apple devices, mail to this account gets automatically archived (very quickly it seems to me). I cannot figure out where the setting is to turn this feature off - I do not want to archive anything. Any help would be much apprecciated!
