I have an iPhone 15 pro. I recorded a piano track in GarageBand, and now I’m trying to add the vocals. The input says Mic, but when I have the headphones plugged in, nothing registers. If I unplug the headphones, I can see the sound register on the monitor.
Never had this problem before. This is probably the first time I’ve done this since I went from the iPhone 11 to the 15.
I would guess that the phone has a combination mic/headphone jack and when you plug in the headphones it is trying to use the Mic it thinks is attached to the headphones.
Possibly, but on my iPhone 11 it worked fine. How the **** are you supposed to record just a voice track if the instrumentals are coming out of the speaker??
Try to not pug it in all the way. You might only get one side, but that should be good enough.
