After I upgraded my
iPhone 14 pro max iOS to 18.1.
Happens on my home wifi.
I reset my cable modem/router.
I I reset network settings on iPhone.
If I run VPN on the phone it works.
If I run 5G cellular, it works.
It is the only app with this issue.
Any additional suggestions?

Yeah, this is a tough technical issue that Apple will have to assist with. Maybe they changed internal security code that checks fot new or different router settings. They should at least try. Its frustrating when Apple points to iSP and vise versa. Its the age old “blame the other guy” syndrome!!!!!
I am having the same issues. Did everything you did, had a chat with Apple who told me it wasn't their problem. My ISP, came to check the connection and everything is fine. Not sure what else to do
