Windows 10 opening icloud email kicks me out of mail and sends me to login screen again.

When using Windows 10, Firefox browser, I log into icloud email. I can see the summaries of emails. As soon as I click on an email the system kicks me out and sends me back to the login for icloud again.

I have the same issue, I've tried logging into icloud mail on edge, opera GX, chrome, and firefox and the same thing happens on them all, it seems to be a windows or web browser issue as far as I can tell.

My macbook is currently being borrowed by a friend that needed it for school, so I likely won't get that back until December and I'm hoping there is a fix or workaround that I can use in the meantime.

OK, currently on my Windows 10 Bootcamp install, where I just logged into iCloud in Firefox and Edge and could not replicate this issue.

The extensions I have in Firefox are 1Password, iCloud Bookmarks, Antidote Web, uBlock Origin, Decentraleyes, DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials, CIRA Canadian Shield and the Wayback Machine.

Extensions in Edge are iCloud Bookmarks, Malwarebytes Browser Guard, uBlock Origin and Privacy Badger.

Again, I suggest you turn off any add-ons/extensions and see if the problem persists when running just the browser.

I have the same issue:

1) Sign in to icloud mail (icloud.com) via my chrome browser (latest version)

2) Click on an email to look at the contents, or hit reply

3) Briefly look at message saying "Cannot mark mail as read. ...(second line I cannot read fast enough)..."

4) Be presented with the icloud login screen again. (Repeat step 1...)

I have rebooted the entire machine and tried Firefox browser. It does not seem to be a browser issue, but an icloud server issue, as my action sent back to the server causes it to log me out.

So I have no email access on my PC. I have used my phone for some emails, but I need the full web interface to properly function.

Apple? Anybody? What can I do besides wait for it to get fixed?

Thanks

I think I found the problem. When using your icloud mail account make sure the web address has

https://www.icloud.com/mail/. After an update my computer did not retain the "/mail/" on the address bar. It would get me into mail but it would kick me out if the word "/mail/" did not appear on the address bar. Mine seems to be working now.

HOPE THIS HELPS!
