EID is blocked, hence eSIM can't be configured on my new iPhone 16.

EID is blocked & hence eSIM can't be configured on my new iPhone 16 which I purchase just a month ago!! I'm trying to get it resolved with apple customer care every day and they are unable to get this resolved. Given all the details yet in this situation,

Finally, I had a success with all of your inputs!!

Neither Apple nor Airtel know the process & willingness to support customers, they blindly follow without understanding the problem.

I requested Apple tech team to inform Airtel about EID block issue, but they were continue to do their own SOP!!


After burning more than 70days with Apple tech support & Airtel customer care, I just wrote mail to Airtel that I'm going to migrate to other service provider & throw this iPhone16.....

Airtel responded that they will fix this problem within 24hours, indeed they fixed it within 4hrs.

Now I'm using eSIM on my new iPhone16....


Help came from community.....

I wish Apple to include this case study to train their tech team to avoid future issues to other customers...

Call airtel call centre or go the their store. Argue with them as they won’t accept it is their mistake. Show them this thread if they are still not convinced. They will send email to their tech team regarding this issue and within 4-24 hours the block will be removed. It is 100 percent airtels doing. Apple has nothing to do here.

Hi I am using iPhone 15pro USA version in India I’m using a Airtel physical sim my old phone I’m trying to convert eSIM error will comes like Eid number blocklisted if I’m trying anther network like jio its works right now I’m convert to jio all my sims right now I’m facing network issue I need to port to Airtel network same thing happen if connect to Airtel support they said issue is apple side if call apple costumer care there is no issue in ur phone
