Connecting Apple TV 4K 3rd gen to XFINITY XB6 WiFi using 802.11 a,n,ac

My Roku premiere stopped connecting to my XFINITY Gateway XB6 because it won’t use my 5GHZ channel. XFINITY has ran a software update that changed my 2.4 from b,g,n to only to 802.11 g,n.

Will an Apple TV 4K 3rd gen connect to my Gateway XB6 using my 802.11ac? My iPhone 16 pro connects to my WiFi with no problems.

Thank You

Apple TV 4K (3rd generation)

You post makes no sense. Why would Xfinity do something like that? The XB6 is a dual band WiFi that supports both 2.4 and 5 gHz. Your Roku should connect as always.

No, you have other issues if your Roku won’t connect. Call both Xfinity and Roku customer support for help in resolving your issue.

As far as the Apple TV goes if your Roku wont connect then neither will the Apple TV likely connect. Both the Roku Premier and the Apple TV 4K are the top hardware of their market class.
