iPhone 16 Pro overheating and Battery Drain

I have had my iPhone 16 Pro since day one, and from then my phone has been overheating constantly even after the updates and all the backups have finished processing. This happens all the time whether I’m holding my phone and browsing on any app or if my phone is just sitting next to me it gets super hot without anything going on. I can see this happening normally when using the phone a lot but this is not the case. The phone also drains battery unbelievably fast. It doesn’t matter what’s going on. The phone drains without me even using it at a normal rate I since then have gotten the phone replaced for free by Apple with AppleCare, but after using the phone for a few days the phone still persists with the issue of battery drain and immense overheating constantly is anyone else seeing this issue?

Guys I went too the Apple Store (luckily I've dealt with the manager previously and he remembered me), he put me over to the Genius Bar and it was suggested I do a complete erase and reinstall from iCloud - a long drawn out process reinstalling emails, apps and cards however SUCCESS, stopped overheating and battery drain, now working as it should - happy daze.

Having said that, I appreciate the resolution, however, it shouldn't be so clunky to swap over to a new iPhone 16 Pro and if Apple are aware of these issues and I bet they are , Apple should have a clear "How to Resolve Battery & Overheating issues on your new iPhone 16 Pro" on their support page.

All's well that ends well.
