When I phone to somebody, the somebody doesn’t hear me because my mic stays quiet
Hi. I had this problem with my SE and then my 7. In my personal situation, it was due to my cell plan provider APN settings. At the time I was using Straight Talk. I would start there. The older phones started showing problems with lack of functionality about 5 years ago. I would first start by following this path and verifying the selections with your plan provider. I hope this helps as to this was a super frustrating problem for me as well!
on IPhone:
to Settings—>About —>
Physical Sim —>Carrier and then tap on
IMS Status and make sure it has Voice and SMS enabled.
