MacOS Apple Maps Satellite Imagery Incosistent

Problem: Satellite View in OLDER version of MacOS & Apple Maps is NEWER than current MacOS & current Apple Maps. Logically a newer version of maps, and a newer version of the OS would still show the same satellite map data (or even newer), but it’s OLDER data.

Left - Showing NEWER DATA:

- MacOS Ventura - 13.7

- Maps Version: 3.0 (2751.26.4.20.9)

Right - Showing OLDER DATA:

- MacOS Sequoia - 15.0.1

- Maps Version: 3.0 (2864.20.7.29.4)

This is NOT a zoom-level problem, the satellite data is older regardless where we look on the newer OS & Maps version.

Thought maybe it was an account-level problem, opened apple maps on our iPhones, they both show the OLDER imagery.

Where does the new imagery come from?

How can I force a re-fetch of the imagery on the newer MacOS?
