Creative cloud installation

Used migration assistant from old iMac, Monterey, to new, I am unable to use any of my Adobe creative cloud apps. Cannot install creative cloud.

I think Creative Cloud installs the version relative to your hardware, and I'm guessing you went from an Intel based Mac to Apple Silicon.

The newer CC apps are Universal, and should open on either CPU design. But I have seen a fair number of topics here where restores from Intel Macs to Apple Silicon simply won't launch.

Go to this page. Scroll down to about the mid point of the page and download the Apple Silicon uninstaller.

Make sure to read all of the rest of the steps. If it also removes your preference files, you can retrieve those from a backup afterwards.

After all of the older installs have been cleaned off the drive, login to your Adobe account. First download and install the Creative Cloud app. Once that's on the drive, you can reinstall fresh, working copies of your apps from Adobe's servers.

Also, did you log Creative Cloud out on the older Mac? Their servers will see the new hardware as a new device and count it against your two installs of your serial number. If you already have two in use, it won't be possible to activate the suite without logging out of it on one of the other two devices.

If necessary, while in your account online, you can click on your icon at the top right, then the Manage Account link. Click View Billing History. Now on the left, click Activated devices. The device(s) already logged in will be listed. Force any one, or both of them off by clicking the Deactivate button.
