Bluetooth device sharing across multiple Apple devices

Can someone give me a solution to this please? I have a different headset for my mac, my mac mini, my iphone , my iwatch, my ipad mini, my ipad and I do not want my one head phone connecting to the other device with out my explict permission. I just deleted a headphone from my Mac and it's also gone off my phone! :(

How do I turn this off?

Surely there must be some Bluetooth management software?

Please help a very very unhappy user!

I want to tag every device below but cannot do this.

By default, Apple devices signed into the same iCloud account will try to seamlessly hand off audio devices to whichever device is active. This is why, when you remove a device from one Apple product, it disappears from others, and why devices might automatically connect.

To control this more tightly, here are some steps you can try:

  • On each Apple device, you can disable the auto-connect feature for your headphones.
  • For the iPhone and iPad: Go to Settings > Bluetooth, find your headphones in the list, tap the (i) button next to them, and set Connect to This iPhone/iPad to When Last Connected to This iPhone/iPad.
  • For your Mac: Go to System Settings > Bluetooth, find your headphones, and click on the (i) button to access options. Set "Connect to this Mac" to "When last connected to this Mac."

humm, there are headphones with out this functions, but i'll do as suggested.

Seems like a lot of time, changing everything, and what is the definition of 'When last connected to this iphone'. So I connected yesterday, does that mean they will connect again automatically as I was connected yesterday. So obtuse!

Also my beats are already connected to the iphone but as soon as I go close to the case I get a pop up saying ' Beat Fit Pro' with the charged label. another step to delete.

When I would rather have the ability to have a sound when the iwatch is charged instead of having to look at my phone to see if the notification is up.

anyways - I guess I'll have to live with these 'apple issues'.

Thank you so much for your time to update me. much appreciated.
