iTunes app missing after Windows 10 to 11 update

I lost my iTunes when my laptop automatically updated from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Can I re-install iTunes (latest version required?) then sync my iPhone to my laptop? If so, will all data be restored on my laptop and retained on my phone?

I can only help with part of the question, but here I go:

Check the list of installed programs on your newly upgraded Win11 machine.

If they exist, uninstall:

  1. Apple Music
  2. Apple Devices
  3. Apple TV

Reboot your machine

Then go to the bottom of this thread where there are links to download

the "stand-alone" installer for iTunes either 32 or 64-bit.

The folks smarter than me (and there is lots of them... ;-)

mostly prefer using the stand-alone installer as you have better control over upgrading.

I'm not sure what will happen on the first-attempt-to-sync

That's beyond my paygrade unfortunately....................
