Ipad pro 13" M4 /Nano screen - replacement already

I bought the iPad pro 13" M4 w/ Nano screen around the end of Sept. I also bought the Apple pencil Pro and the new Apple keyboard. Around a month later I had screen flickering intermittently. I recorded it w/ iPhone to send to Apple support. Tried Troubleshooting device with support tech. Advised me that my iPad would need further diagnostics and would most likely need to be replaced and they made genius bar appt for me to bring it in advising me to bring my box and everything that came with it to appt. Due to work commitments I needed to reschedule. I ended up getting an appt about 2 1/2 weeks later. At Genius bar appt I handed it to the tech and they did their tests and what no.. The tech said my ipad needed to be replaced. So I found out that I will be receiving a ipad pro with a branded w/ "replacement" looking up serial number. I have a huge problem with this. The ipad is in Mint condition (as noted by tech) bought a month after I reported the problem to Apple and talked with support. I paid full price over $2000 for the ipad not even 2 months ago, and the screen started having flickering problems, that doesnt seem fair or right to me that I had to pay full price for and ipad only to receive one that will show its a replacement device. Which is valued at a lesser cost than a new one. This de-values my initial purchase. I didnt spend over $2000 only to have a certified replacement device that apple sells at a discount, especially not even owning my new ipad for 60 days. I bought the Macbook pro M3 16" 8 months ago and it has worked amazingly and still does! Is it really that much of an ask that I expect that same level of quality and value with my ipad Pro M4 13" that I have with my MacBook pro M3 Pro16"? I could see if I owned the iPad for 6 months getting a replacement, but under a month with before the issue started with the screen... that just seems wrong..

What you've been told is per Apple's standard warranty terms, that they can repair or replace a device as they deem appropriate, and that a replacement may be new or refurbished at their option. I understand the frustration, but this is common with just about every manufacturer of electronic devices, that a replacement under warranty may be a refurbished unit. A refurbished device from Apple will have the same quality and warranty as a new device would, so other than any perceived loss of resale value, you are not losing anything that you paid for.

In any case, there is nothing any of us here, who are all just your fellow users, can do about Apple's policies and procedures.

Regards.

I appreciate your feedback, although there still is a loss, as Apple sells refurbished devices at a reduced cost, therefore diminishing the value of the replaced device. I posted this not to have anyone on her "do anything" about my situation, I was merely finding out if others had a similar situation with their new ipad pro M4 nano screen, and if so what their resolution was. Thanks again for your feedback.
