Updated to 18.2 Ios - same bug all Google Apps crash after 30 secs. Photos / Maps / Music / Translation

Typicall A - they will not ever entertain any bugs and issues like this and believe their software is unfailable. Very unhelpful bunch.

Last time I had a bug with Google Photo APP which I carried 1 year from IOS 17 to ios 18. Worked until now and started crashing.

I am having this issue as well, since the update. Nothing I have tried helps (clearing cache/app data, restarting phone, removing and restarting the apps). I am glad that I am not alone but has anyone figured out a fix that works?

I’m experiencing the same issue with Google apps on my iPhone 15 Pro Max running iOS 18.2.1. The apps (e.g., Gmail, Google Drive, YouTube, etc.) keep crashing or freezing after about 15–30 seconds, even when I’m actively using them.

I’ve already tried updating the apps, reinstalling them, and restarting my phone, but nothing seems to work.

It’s reassuring to see I’m not the only one facing this issue. Has anyone here found a fix or workaround?

Well, the update went successful map products but still having the same problems as you specified everything crashes after 15 to 20 seconds I don’t get it. Is it way of retaliating against Apple products who knows?

I am facing the same issue as well on my iPhone 16 Pro running iOS 18.3.1. YouTube and Gmail keeps crashing after few seconds upon launch. Uninstalled and reinstalled the apps, rebooted, upgraded OS and nothing helped.

Iphone 15 pro max. All Google apps starting crashing Tuesday mar 11 2025. Gmail, google search, YouTube, YouTube music, Snapseed, and the playstore. They all crash after 15 to 30 seconds. I restarted, I deleted and reinstalled, I even turned the phone upside,hoped and updated but nothing is working.

This is what’s happening to my phone I have tried everything it seems that it’s just the google apps. All of them are crashing after 30 to 60 seconds into it. I’ve called apple support my company I’m under and I can’t get a hold of google because it won’t let me in the app

I updated iPhone 16 to 18.4.1. Now several google apps shut down REPEATEDLY within seconds of opening. In particular, I lost use of google maps on a 6 hr drive in unfamiliar area and had to rely on MAPS, which is nice (buzzes my Apple Watch), but still too buggy to depend upon. (It directed me across five lines of traffic to an apparent left exit with 1/2 mile warning. But the exit was actually an HOV Lane that I had to get out of quickly)

I have deleted and reinstalled every Google app on my phone. I have shut down and rebooted my phone. My phone is a 16 and has the newest updates. I hope Apple is not deliberately targeting Google apps ☹️

I have 18.2 on both iPhone 13 and iPhone 11

iphone 13 works with Google Apps

iPhone 11 has only Google Apps crashing after few seconds of usage. All Google apps.

For me, after a few days of not working that just started working again!

iPhone 16 pro, iOS 18.3 same problem. YouTube and Google Maps crash after 30 seconds…
