why wont my iPhone 16 Pro Max and my watch charge on my all in one?

i have an all in one charging station. 60w.

my iPhone 13, ultra 49mm watch, and earbuds all charged at the same time.

now that I have the iPhone 16promax, if I put the watch on the all in one with it, it loses charging connection, keeps dinging as it loses and then dings when it reconnects. But doesn’t stay connected long, maybe 3 seconds.

does anyone else have this issue or know of a fix? And no, it is t apples charging station.

iPhone 16 Pro Max, iOS 18

Search for accessories that have completed MFi certification. Once an accessory has completed MFi certification requirements and is reported to Apple as sold/distributed, it will be searchable in our public database of authorized Lightning, headset, charging, iAP-enabled, and Find My network-enabled accessories.

Learn how to identify counterfeit or uncertified Lightning-based accessories.

I have a 3 in one charger and my 16 Pro Max, Apple Watch Ultra and earbuds all charge fine on it. I can't think of a reason it would work fine with your iPhone 13, but not well with your 16 Pro Max?

Try a Forced Restart on your iPhone --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

Restart your Apple Watch as well --> Restart Apple Watch - Apple Support

Adding a more powerful charging brick will not make a difference. The charger distributes the same charge to your devices regardless as long as it outputs enough power. 20W should be more than enough. And your devices charger is built into the devices themselves. They can't take more power in a charge than the built in charger permits.

Thank you for your reply.

Yes it is MagSafe. And the issue isn’t even with the iPhone 16. It’s that when the iPhone 16 is charging, the watch will NOT stay connected and charge.

But if the iPhone is NOT charging the watch charges fine.

And just to say again, my iPhone 13 and watch and earbuds all charge fine TOGETHER on this all in one station.

I did change the charging cord and brick to a 100w usbc that charges my iPhone 16 and still run into the same issue.

Appreciate all the replies.
