Studio Display only works if my M1 MacBook Air is 100% charged

I have a M1 MacBook Air and a Studio Display. I was away from home, where my Studio Display is, for about a week and had it unplugged from the power outlet in this period. When I got back home I plugged my MacBook to the Studio Display just to find out that the latter couldn't charge the former anymore. The chime of the charging connection plays, but the image doesn't stay on (the screen blinks but I can see it's the login in screen) and the charging chime keeps repeating like I am disconnecting and reconnecting the cable.

I already tested the cable with a wall charger, and it charges the MacBook normally. If the computer is 100% charged, I can connect it to the Studio Display, and everything works just fine, like before.

Don't know if this is related to the latest Sequoia update (15.1.1) as I don't usually disconnect the MacBook from the Studio Display. I already rebooted the MacBook and the Studio Display (unplugged from the outlet and plugged it again after 10 seconds).

Thanks in advance for any help the community can provide!

Just realized I could connect my iPad Pro, and see how the Studio Display would behave. Same thing: iPad was not fully charged and it kept losing connection to the Studio Display. Charging kept stopping and resuming intermittently and mirroring the iPad display wasn’t stable.

So it’s not an issue with Sequoia’s latest update.
