Dropped MacBook doesn’t open

my son dropped my MacBook Air and it doesn’t open any more as well as having a weird șign on it. Do you think it is completely lost?

iPhone 14, iOS 17

Try connecting an external display. It is possible you may still be able to use the laptop until it is repaired or replaced. The built-in Display is cracked...that is what that bright spot & colors are. Plus you may be able to make a backup (hopefully you already have one), or to erase the internal drive to destroy the data if you end up recycling it.
