MacOS 15.2 screen mirroring stuck on when smart tv is used as a monitor.

Same problem here with my Mac Mini M4 and LG OLED. It just started without warning. I’ve tried everything toggled all of the settings and I can’t get it to indicate that it’s not screen sharing. I’m feeling insecure about it like my computer is possibly sharing my screen with the neighbors TV?

I updated to 15.2 3 days ago. M2 Macbook Pro with 2 external monitors. Day 2 on waking up, neither external monitor displayed anything except my mouse pointer. Today, upon waking up, both external monitors fine but the retina display completely off.

Forcing into sleep and re-awakening fixed the problem both times.

Every time I change inputs, when I go back to the input my Mac mini is on, the input resets back to video mode instead of the PC mode I set it to.

I don't think I have noticed that with my M1 Mini.

I have the same issue. I have 3 displays, one of which is the HDMI connection to a 4k TV. I have to reset the display parameters after every boot up. Something is seriously broken in the .2 update!

Same problem here I have the M4Pro hooked to a 55" Samsung TV and screen mirroring to itself its my only connection to the Mac M4 Pro MacOs 15.2 update..... 15.1 was fine no problems

I wonder the same thing is it sharing my screen to a neighbors ? ugh

I have the same problem with my m1 max and my phillips c1 monitor since yesterday's update. I can use the display as such but it now seems to be delayed.

Same problem here with Mac Mini M2 and HP Z38c ultrawide monitor

Crazy. Every time I boot up the computer, the OS forgets my monitor setup. Have to redo everything from arrangements to resolutions! I sincerely hope Apple addresses this soon.

This has also worked for me, I was using a smart TV as a monitor for my M4 Mac Mini

it is showing my 65inch LG OLED TV as 72inch.
