Hallmark Card Studio crashed on MacBook Air after updating to macOS 15.2

Whenever I contact them for an update they say: “Thank you for contacting Hallmark Software Technical Support. We apologize for the inconvenience. Rest assured that they are aware of the issue. The website will be updated once a solution is available. If you have any further questions, please write back to us.”

I’m sure that buried somewhere in the license agreement you implicitly accepted when you opened the app the first time Hallmark has provided themselves with an out. They all do it.

I’m impressed that you got a response. Can you share who and how you contacted them? Maybe if we all band together we can help them move a little faster and make it free as we all paid for a product we fully expected to “at the very least” keep working.

Suggest testing it first. ..oversimplified, it's nothing more than a printer utility...you have to have a completed card essentially.

Better idea is Swift Publisher 5. Apple design from the ground up, talks to Photos directly, has some basic images to works with and inexpensive..but no predesigned cards like Hallmark which is Hallmarks only good asset. Like all apps, imported images need to have backgrounds removed. If Publisher had that feature, it would be a game changer.

Same issue here. Was Ok before updating to 15.2. I submitted a bug report to hallmark.

Since updating to MacOS Sequoia 15.2, Hallmark Card Studio for Mac v22 Bonus won't work, and I can't create or print any cards. Is there a fix?

I’ve also reported to Hallmark. Until I download 15.2 I could use the hallmark program. Now it simply crashes.

I agree. Mine was OK with 15.0-15.1 then broke on 15.2. You would not think an Apple update within the present OS would break the program but it did.

What's interesting is that it worked fine with 15.1 but when going to 15.2 it does not. Got to wonder what Apple did in the update.

If Apple made a change regarding security or a bug fix that killed Hallmark that’s not Apple’s problem. Happens all the time and the responsible developers are always ready with an update.

I agree. Just wondering what the change might have been.

Does someone have an hcdx file they can post to a file sharing/dropbox service so we can at least make a card?
