How do I transfer voice recordings from my iPhone to PC?

How can I get my Voice Recording to my PC. I have updated the iPhone, iTunes etc and I understand that they should appear under Music but they do not. The ideal way would be to read them from Internal Storage when USB connected. I used to be able to save the Voice Recording to iCloud but this option does not seem to be available

Best way I could find to do this is to Share the recording (if just a single recording, tap the 3 dots.. if multiple recordings use the Edit button in the upper right and select multiple)

Once in the Share menu, select Save to Files, select a location on your iCloud Drive. To test I made a simple folder called Voice Memos and saved it there.

I didn't try this from a Windows PC, but from my Mac I could go to iCloud.com and on the iCloud Drive tile I click on the 10 + folder icon, select View all Folders (this might be more simple for you if you don't have a bunch of folders like I do). From there it was pretty easy to access, just double click on the Voice Memos folder, hover over the memo, select the 3 dots and then download a copy. It looks like you can select multiple memos by clicking the higher one and then holding the shift key when selecting the lower one

In the share menu I have these options.. Note that you may need to scroll to access all of them..

-----

Copy

CopyTranscript

Duplicate

Favorite

Move to Folder

New Quick Note

Save to Files

Print with HP Smart (you likely won't have this)

Save to Dropbox (you likely won't have this)

if Save to Files is not listed, underneath all these options there should be a selection for Edit Actions..., if you tap that a menu will open, make sure the switch for Save to Files is on.

If that switch is already on, I'm not sure why you wouldn't have the Save to Files option. You are using the same Apple ID on both I assume? When you set up the new phone, did you restore from the old one?

If you have both phones, compare the configuration between them in Settings > [your name] > iCloud. In particular I think the new phone would need to have the switch turned on at 'Saved to iCloud' > See All > iCloud Drive.

I don't think this iCloud configuration stuff would cause Save to Files not to show up though as you can still Save to Files to the local iPhone storage and access using the Files app without needing to be synced with iCloud.
