Trade in - Change of mind

I recently bought an iPhone 16 Pro. I was charged the full price, and they will refund me the trade-in value once they receive the trade-in item. I had planned to trade in my iPhone 14 Pro. Apple has sent me the trade-in kit, but I’ve changed my mind and no longer want to send it. What will happen if I don't return it?

It’s interesting that you were charged full price. For my last purchase they deducted the trade-in value at time of purchase, with notification that I would be charged the trade-in value if I didn’t return the old phone within 60 days. I suggest calling Apple and asking. You will need the order number.
