How to remove "Ready for repair" status in Find My still displaying an authorized repair

I recently took in my iPhone 14 Pro to have the battery replaced. Upon receiving it, I noticed that the repair tag would not go away in the Find My app. I asked the Geek Squad, who was the nearest authorized repair center, how to remove it. They did not know. After some research on the Apple Ask The Community I figured out what worked for me. I thought I would share with you all.

Here are the steps below:

1. Turn OFF - Stolen Device Protection
2. Turn OFF - Find My iPhone
3. Turn ON - Find My iPhone
4. Turn ON - Stolen Device Protection

Keep in mind when you turn off Stolen Device Protection, you may have a waiting period for security reasons.
