Why is my remote server connection failing with CMD + K on MacBook Pro?

I am trying to connect to a remote server with Https, if I hit cmd + K, I put in the url and the the login launches after hitting connect, I put in my login details and nothing happens. I checked online on the NASS Qnap site, there is no indication that the connection is successful.

Typically, connections to remote servers/NAS devices are via samba. Replace the 'https://' in the url with 'smb://' and try again. I connect to a QNAP NAS with that method.

Hi neuroanatomist, I tried it but it doesn't work, we have over remote workers using the same https:// url and it works, my Mac Book is the only one that fails to connect, after the login the Mac makes a sound like when moving things to the bin and then nothing happens, I have also deleted login logs in Keychain access and then tried again to connect but no success.
