The iOS 17/18 is not available for devices with A11 bionic chip, which includes iPhone X, so you can't update it no matter what. However, you can still enjoy similar features by downloading some free apps from the App Store that work exactly like some of the new features in iOS 17/18.

No matter how much you want the iOS 18 update, it’s not going to come on your iPhone. Your iPhone X has reached the end of its software updates support for the latest iOS operating system, and cannot be updated past iOS 16.7.10. iOS 18 is compatible with the iPhone XR and later.

Then you need to purchase an iPhone that is compatible with it – preferably an iPhone 15- or 16-series phone which is likely to have years of updates ahead of it.

The iPhone X – the subject of this thread – cannot update to iOS 17 or 18.

Re: “How can I put my iPhone X to iOS 18?when I put “iOS 18 Public Beta”it’s kept saying “ios 16.7.10”what does its mean?”

You cannot put iOS 18 on your iPhone X. For your phone, iOS 16 is the end of the line. iOS 16.7..10 is the current release of iOS 16 and therefore is the highest version of iOS your phone can run for now.

You should not still be running Public Beta software on an iPhone X.

If you have an iPhone X, you shall continue to want iOS 18, without having it.

You can update an iPhone X to the latest release of iOS 16. You cannot update an iPhone X to iOS 17 or higher. Posting "I want iOS 18" twice within the space of about a minute will not change this. If you want iOS 18, you'll need to purchase an iPhone that is capable of running it – such as an iPhone 15 or 16 series phone. (16-series should you want Apple Intelligence.)

You don't. Nothing has changed from any of the posts you have seen on this thread and you should not expect it to. The iPhoneX does not have the appropriate hardware to be able to run iOS 18 efficiently.
