The easiest way, in my opinion, would be to connect one set to the 3.5mm audio jack and the other via USB to one of the ports. Or connect each via USB. Which will go where will depend on what headphones and speakers you have or wish to use.
Regards.
An audio interface is the best option for high-quality audio and seamless switching:
1) Connect the audio interface to your Mac Studio via USB or Thunderbolt.
2) Plug your headphones and speakers into the respective ports on the interface.
3) Use the interface’s controls or software to switch between the two outputs.
Good audio interfaces like:
1- Focusrite Scarlett 2i2
2- PreSonus AudioBox
3- Audient iD4
I forgot to write that both the speakers and the headphone use the mini-jack connection.
