How can I stop Safari from auto-filling URLs?

Everyday I click the search bar in safari and type out the name of a business and every time it takes me straight to the company website. I am trying to google the company, not go to their website. Not to mention this company has multiple websites and every time it takes me to the same one. The search bar auto populates with the full URL and there is no way to turn it off. Every time this happens I have to try typing extra words into the search for it to go to the Google search of the company, and sometimes it still takes me to the website. Make this feature be optional, it drives me up a wall.

You can go to Safari > Settings > Search and see if unchecking these options works for you. If not, try adding a space after the company name so that Safari will search for the company itself, rather than automatically taking you to its website.
