Restart issue during macOS Sequoia 15.2 update

I think my present installation is contaminated. When updating to macOS Sequoia 15.2 the process halts during restarting. How do I create a brand new updated version of the macOS?

what I read here—

"A third-party kernel extension have been disabled."


You can reasonably expect this is some old third party software, if this is not a on-going issue I would ignore it.


A one off issue may never re-present itself...


"You will be prompted to re-enable them in Privacy & Security System Settings as they are used."
