Go to the App Store ad see if you can download and run the Safari Technology Preview releases 102 or 119 app. It may be like Safari and won't run on El Capitan. Worth a try, thought. If not give Brave a try. It's Chrome without the Google overhead. It's safe and fast. look on Brave's site for version 1.69x for Catlina. Do the same for Firefox 115 ESR which is compatible with Catalina.

That sound awful 😞 — Long story:

I can’t afford a new Mac at the moment, but my browser is being denied entry in some sites with my Safari browser… I have been using Chrome… this morning I was prompted by Google to update my version… then lost chrome as I couldn’t upload the new one (only supports Mac 11-onwards, and had lost the old one by replacing it with new Chrome… so I go to good old faithful Safari, and got into the above problem… some sites deny entry with my version of Safari… I need a newer version of Safari… one that can support 10:15… Cheers
