I need to update the Safari browser of my iMac.
Does updated Safari support imac 10:15?

Go to the App Store ad see if you can download and run the Safari Technology Preview releases 102 or 119 app. It may be like Safari and won't run on El Capitan. Worth a try, thought. If not give Brave a try. It's Chrome without the Google overhead. It's safe and fast. look on Brave's site for version 1.69x for Catlina. Do the same for Firefox 115 ESR which is compatible with Catalina.
I'm using Brave on High Sierra right now, but its updates ceased perhaps a year ago.
That may be. But the current version of Brave requires macOS 11 Big Sur or later.
