How do I unlock iPhone after setting up an AirTag?

Myphone has always been unlocked. I went to set up a air tag and it asked for a code number so i made one up. Now my phone locks constantly and I cannot fine Air Tag anywhere on my phone Where's My App? How can I undo this?

Air tag needs to be able to put on my new phone I just upgraded my phone from iPhone 12 to iPhone 14 pro and didn’t remove my AirTag from my old phone can I get it reset so I can use it again as I had it in my vehicle in case it got stolen so I can track it thank you, as my partner brought it for me the device has my phone number attached it so any help would be greatly appreciated thanks Toby

I am unable to setup AirTag to my new iPhone Need to set an air tag to my phone I got from Amazon it’s asking to to take rest id off old phone I don’t no it. Need to reset air tag don’t have old phone’s [Edited by Moderator]

To add an AirTag to your iPhone, you need to set up a passcode. You can find your AirTag in the Find My app, then go to Items.
