I open the app, and it crashes. I just updated to Sequoia from Sonoma, and have dowloaded all updates. I had some pdf files open on preview before updating. I have tried rebooting the Mac and reinstalling Sequoia to see if it was a faulty install.
I also add the error report.

Actually, never mind, it got fixed.
Not sure what did it, but I tried several things:
opening and quickly terminating it from activity monitor (didn't seem to work a few times, but I tried doing it faster),
tried opening a new .png file as well, didn't seem to fix it but soon after doing that, it worked again.
I was struggling with this problem for a few hours, on and off, even reinstalled Mac OS as I said in the original post.
I leave this here hoping to help whoever might have the same problem, or at least give hope haha
