Endless iCloud login loop on Windows 11

I had the same problem with iCloudDrive on Windows 11 for a long time. Nothing synchronized. All the “quick fixes” from the forums with “Reset iCloud for Windows” etc. never helped me. Anyway, today I found out in the depths of the internet that the email addresses associated with the iCloud account are suddenly (- for whatever reason??...) Case Sensitive...

So the solution that worked for me: Reset iCloud for Windows, log in again (but with the email address case-sensitive - just like you see it in the iPhone settings) and now everything works!

(Specifically, I always capitalized the first letters of my first and last name in the email. In the iPhone, however, my entire email is in lower case... And that was probably the problem. To my knowledge, however, emails are not otherwise case sensitive. So it's very strange what happened.)

I kept receiving the endless login loop and tried most things I read online. After reading the response below from

Nagtsnegge, I realized I was using one of my emails associated with my Apple account, however, it was not the primary email. So, even though attempting to login with another email still pinged my iPhone for approval, I kept getting the loop.

The first time I attempted to log in with my primary email, it worked. Just happened right now. I was thrilled!

Maybe double-check that you are using your primary email:

Settings --> Apple Account (Your Photo) --> Sign-In & Security --> Top email "Should" say Primary email

I have reloaded iCloud, no help. Deleted all iCloud Apps, deleted all apple files from my computer, run CCleaner to fix registry errors. Downloaded iCloud for windows from the Microsoft store and reinstalled it.

Nothing works. It still has me log in, get the code from my phone, then watch the circle spin until the login screen opens again. There has to be a fix somewhere.
