Is Sequoia compatible with my Intel-based iMac?

I'm wondering whether its a good idea to update from Sonoma to Sequoia as not all the main Apple benefits work with an Intel chip such as Apple Intelligence ?

I note that version 15.3 is now available which I guess must have resolved the issues I have seen that some have had.

Stick with what I have or update to get some advantages ?

Cheers Steve

I have a 2019 MacBook Pro (Intel i9 processor) and am running Sequoia 15.3. It works as well or better than Sonoma.

( It doesn't have the AI features, of course, but I find a few of its features to be handy, e.g., iPhone Mirroring.)

I just made the jump to Sequoia from Monterey on my iMac 2020. If I hadn't just bought a new MB Air M3 that arrived with Sequoia 15.1 already loaded, I would've waited a few more months to upgrade. I want to have the same OS on both. Currently struggling a bit with it, lots of changes to maneuver.
