Unable to log in to iCloud on PC after Apple Store update

My PC ask to log in to icloud, it will not accept my phone number to process in order to open my pc, I just updated my apple store on my phone, now my pc is messed up

cant sign in to my icloud when logging in to icloud either with ipad or on computer it says "could not sign it. There was an error connecting to iCloud". Internet connection is fine, can sign in to other accounts. Not sure why I cant sign in here
