My name updated to my husband's name on my friends phone

I was recently texting with a friend, and while doing so, she received a message that my contact info updated. When she pressed okay, it updated with my husband's name. Why did this happen and how can we fix it?

Why does my wife's name appear when I call a new contact? My iPhone shows my husband's name instead of mine I purchased an iPhone 15 on the 26th Nov, 23 and under settings instead of showing my name it is showing my husbands name. He has an iPhone 15 too. Can you help me solve this problem? Also what can be the possible reason for the same? I have gone to general and manually changed the details, however the iphone name remains. Attaching an image for reference. Where is says "Raheel's iphone" it should have my name instead. [Edited by Moderator]

Might you and your husband be sharing an Apple Account? If so, stop doing that immediately.

Make sure that each family member has a unique Apple Account - Apple Support
