When in Photoshop (Beta) to open Leica M11 DNG files the previews are black. My Leica M10 DNG files do preview. Frustrating because I just upgraded to Sequoia and now I'm screwed. Any suggestions/workarounds would be awesome.

macOS Sequoia appears to contain support for Leica M11 files.
However, Adobe uses their own Raw support code, and has their own Raw format compatibility list.
Adobe – Cameras supported by Camera Raw
I suggest checking that your versions of Photoshop and Adobe Camera Raw are up-to-date. If they are, and you continue seeing the problem, contact Adobe for support.

I just updated to Sequoia 15.5 and the world is right again haha. Yes the DNG files preview again!! Yay!!! Thanks for all the communications. Louis
Upgrade to Sequoia 15.5 it will fix the preview problem. Thank you Apple for listening.

FWIW, it seems it is an issue with Sequoia 15.4. Some cameras that were supported in previous versions of Sequoia stopped working correctly. Please send Apple a bug report from the feedback page. The more reports Apple gets, the better.
So Apple has issued 2 more software updates since I had upgraded to Sequoia and experienced the DNG problem. But neither updates fixed the Leica M11 DNG problem. In column view I still get no preview. Black preview box. In gallery and icon view I do get an image. I’m using macOS Sequoia 15.4
I do wish Apple would read our comments here and try to fix their problem.
Did you update to Sequoia 15.5? They're fine for me.

how about not the beta...?
change the size of the preview icons and compare your results.
The current stable release of Sequoia including bug fixes, security updates is macOS 15.3.1

Since I installed Sequoia 15.4, I have exactly the same issue on the finder with DNG files from my ...iphone13.
Black preview box turning to a visible picture stack as long as I select more than one file.
Redimensioning the window also kills the black box.
It seems to be a Mac issue, not Leica...

I didn't get any response from Adobe. But I also uninstalled my PS, and PS (beta) CC and reinstalled them. No change. So I trashed one of my M11 DNG file. Today I went to retrieve the file out of the trash. I opened the trash, clicked once on the DNG file and to my amazement the preview in the trash was black also. Just like the preview in my PS. Black. This leads me to think it's OS Sequoia vs the Leica M11 DNG file. I never had a problem with the previous OS and M11 DNG files.

dialabrain thanks for sending an M11 DNG. Here's what happened… when I selected to preview it in PS (beta), it came out black as mine did. But if I selected your file with another file, BOTH showed up. See my attachments. Weird!!!!!!!
Latest Photoshop (Beta) and Photoshop v26.3 installed. Camera Raw 17.2 installed. DNG file will open visibly in CameraRaw and Photoshop and LRC. Just won't show a preview as I demonstrated
Interesting. Even Photoshop Elements 2025 shows the previews of Leica M11 DNG files. You need to contact Adobe.
Can you download and see if a couple of these files preview from this Leica M11 sample gallery?
