First time Microsoft Teams user on my MacBook Pro

I am going to participating in a Microsoft Teams meeting as an attendee and would like to use my MacBook Pro lap top 2022 running Sequoia 15.3.1

Can I just click the link in the meeting invitation or do I have to install software/app to enable it to run?

I cannot believe how hard it is to find an answer to this straightforward question.

Get a meeting invitation url from the meeting organizer. Join the meeting using a browser. You do not need the Teams App. Try using Chrome or FireFox browser rather than Safari.
