Macbook Air M2 external display not found after restart

I've got an MacBook Air M2 and I am using an LG Ultrawide 49" monitor and whenever I reboot the Mac does not detect the external display. It is connected directly into the Mac via a USB to Deskport cable and I've tried different cables, I've tried connecting to the monitor via a Caldigit T3 Plus dock and always with the same result. If I unplug/plug-in the cable it resets and I can see it as an external display. I've deleted the two Display plist files, and reset the PRAM all with no luck.

I feel like I've exhausted the options if anyone has more ideas I would appreciate it?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 13.2
