How can I hide the dock during iPhone mirroring on MacBook Pro?

Hi,

When I use iPhone mirroring, it is annoying having the dock/menu bar with all my apps on my Mac book pro open as it covers part of the iPhone being mirrored. But when I use my Mac the rest of the day, I want to have the dock/menu bar there always. Is there a way to set it up on my Mac that the bar will come up only when I move my cursor there when I am in iPhone mirroring and then the rest of my uses on my Mac the dock/menu bar will always be there?

Thank you

Option Command D will hide and unhide the Dock...
