How do I permanently reduce system data after using Clean My Mac app?

Used Clean My Mac app and removed approximately 25G of useless files. 2 days later it was back up to 195G.

CleanMyMac does nothing of the sort. Get rid of it.

Optimizers that try to delete system caches can corrupt them and leave your system incapable of launching applications.


No matter how many times I've tried to ask the App Store to get it removed, they have left it on. Unfortunately the App Store feedback mechanism is such that only users of downloaded software can truly offer feedback, so you never hear about the rogue software from the store reviews themselves.
