Why are special characters not working in hard disk login on Mac Pro?

Hi, I've a problem when I try to enter my password in the hard disk login when I try to access in the recovery of my Monteray. The special characters "@" and "&" do not appear as if the key combination does not work ("ALT+@" and "ALT+&"). Can you help me?

In theory the keyboard should be German.

There are several German keyboards. Here is where you find @:

German/Austrian: Alt L

German Standard: Alt Q

German Swiss: Alt G

As for &, it should always be on Shift 6.
