You may want to do this, but you cannot do this. The iPhone X will never get iOS 17 or higher.

Not possible. To run apps that require iOS 17 or higher, you must buy a new phone.

An iPhone X is limited to iOS 16, and newer iOS versions are not supported.

To get to iOS 17 and the current iOS 18, you will need an iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone SE 2nd, or newer.

But best acquire an iPhone 11, or iPhone SE 2nd, or later, as those can run iOS 26 imminently arriving.

The 8 year old hardware in iPhone X does not support newer operating systems. Sorry. iOS 16.X.X is the last OS the hardware can run.

As for software updates with an iPhone X (if that is what you have here), iOS 17 and iOS 18 needs iPhone XS, iPhone XR, iPhone SE 2nd, or newer. Preferably, iPhone 11, iPhone SE 2nd, or newer too, as those are supported with iOS 26 arriving Real Soon Now.

Did you think to maybe read the thread you just posted to? Had you done so, instead of asking the same question which has been asked multiple times, you wouldn't have wasted your time because the answer is still NO, you CANNOT download iOS 17 on an iPhone X.

You clearly didn't bother to read anything in this thread. If you had, you wouldn't have wasted your time asking a question which has been answered over and over and that answer is you CAN'T download iOS 17 on iPhone X.
