How do I set keyboard shortcut to type "@gmail.com" on macOS Sequoia?

Looking for a shortcut to enter "@gmail.com" after typing the name without entering the space like when using text replacements in system settings.

Thank you dialabrain for taking the time to respond. I am aware of using Text Replacements in keyboard settings, however this is my situation:

I set up "@gmail.com" to replace "gm", but when I type "name{space}gm{space}", I get name{space}@gmail.com" having to go back and remove the space to get a correct email address. I remember using a Windows app that allowed you to place {backspace} before the replacement hence removing the unwanted space. I was wondering if there might be a similar app for Mac.
