How can I connect an old style keyboard to my iMac?

Have now had four keyboards provided under warranty; all have same defect, usually identifiable as reacting to adjacent key(s), including space bar. I am not a touchtypist and usually use two fingers, but never had this problem with previous iMac. This MUST be impacting other users of new iMac.How can I get an old style keyboard, or better membrane? And how do I connect it to 4 port iMac?

you don't need to get apple made keyboard, pretty much all should work both bluetooth and usb ones

if your mast question is how to connect a keyboard with usb-a connector to your newer usb-c imac only then you can use an adaptor

Amazon.com : usb-a to usb-c adapter
