How can I change username on Apple Watch and on Mac?

When my Watch displays the good morning message when Sleep Focus ends, it addresses me as "DavidsM1". DavidsM1 was the computer name of a Mac Mini that I had a few years back. Any idea why the watch has picked up this name (I think I upgraded the Mac before I got this version of the Watch), and how I can change it to one of my current Macs? I've looked and looked!

AppleID password changed I recently changed my AppleID password using my iMac. I was able to login OK with the new password on my iPad and iPhone, but the Watch keeps asking for the password. Although there is a blank square to enter it I cannot see any sort of keyboard? There is a Key symbol which when tapped brings up a list of email addresses and websites from my Keychain, but when I tap the relevant one for AppleID it gives an invalid password or username error. I have tried restarting the Watch, but no change. I also tried updating the software, currently 8.7, but was told I need to update the software on the iPhone, this is up to date 15.7 (altho' 16.0 is available) Any ideas how I can resolve this?

Setting up a new right out of the box never used before Apple Watch. Wrong Apple ID defaults on iphone I am pairing it with Setting up a new right out of the box never used before Apple Watch. Was then forced to update to latest OS (1.5 hours gone). When I go to pair the watch it pulls a completely incorrect email address up as my Apple ID (one never associated with any Apple ID I have ever used, as I only have ever used one). There is no way to get it to use the actual Apple ID on my iphone. How do I correct this problem?

Apple Terminology - Please Help This is a list of Apple terminologies that I need help with: Apple ID iCloud Account Lock Screen User Appleid.apple.com My Apple ID is my personal email address. My Apple "User" is my name. When I log into iCloud.com on my MacBook Pro with my Apple Watch on, it first prompts me with: Do you want to sign in to icloud.com with your Apple ID “{Email address}”? I click "Continue with password". It then prompts me with: Continue to sign in on Safari with user “{FIRST NAME} {LAST NAME}”. Are there any expert Apple users out there who can help clear this mess up? Is the Apple ID and USER interchangeable? i.e. Are they the same thing, but just used interchangeably to confuse everyone? Is the Lock Screen password on my Mac simply my Apple ID password? Or are they separate terminologies? When I change my Apple ID password at iCloud.com, it doesn't appear to work anywhere. What is the difference between iCloud.com and Appleid.apple.com in terms off changing passwords? Please just try to answer these questions directly. Thank you.

On your Mac, consider trying System Settings > Focus > Share across devices = "off".

Thanks for that. But when I go to that page on my watch, it shows my actual name (“David Stevens”), not the “DavidsM1” that the “good morning” screen shows. I’ve looked and looked (in my Apple account; on my devices) but haven’t been able to find where the old Mac name is saved. It’s very odd.
