appeared black box on phone in upper right corner. i cannot click it or move it and dont know what it it. i just want it gone....cant even read what it is.. blocks other things..

Ok, that indicates there’s an issue with the screen itself. You can have her checked out at a Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP):

Try a forced restart.
• Press and quickly release the volume up button
• Press and quickly release the volume down button
• Press and hold the side button.
• When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

If it doesn't appear in a screenshot, it is very probably physical damage to the LCD itself if you see it no matter what app is open.
