How can I clean the charging port and speaker of my iPhone after a syrup spill?

iPhone 16// long story short, a heap of sugar syrup spilt all over my iPhone 16. Now the charger port is crusty and unreliable, the speakers are crunchy and crackly and the volume buttons are stuck. How can I clean it?

It’s unlikely you can clean it yourself. It will require considerable disassembly to clean speakers and check for damage. It’s likely uneconomical to repair. Meaning it’ll cost more to repair than the item is worth or a replacement.

Do you have Apple Care+ or third party warranty offered by cellular providers and/or credit card companies?
