Unable to connect wireless mouse or keyboard to Mac

i have old Mac 2000 now tried to connct wireless mouse unsuccessfuly asi also have a wirelss keyboard

The iMac in 2000 had no Bluetooth capability.

The 2003 model iMacs may have had Bluetooth v.1 which is not compatible with the newest wireless keyboard and mouse.

You won't be able to use them.

You'll have to stick with USB devices.


There's a slight chance that wireless devices that ship with a USB transceiver (dongle) may work, but then the question becomes one of compatibility with the old OS. I wouldn't expect that option to work either.
